Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you access or use Journi’s website, Trip Hubs, app, tools and related services.
Journi is operated by Journi Travels Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16308436.
Contact: hello@getjourni.co
Website: www.getjourni.co
By using Journi, creating an account, creating a Trip Hub, joining a Trip Hub or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Journi Does
Journi is a group trip planning platform. It helps organisers and guests bring dates, ideas, budgets, RSVPs, preferences, links, notes and decisions into one shared Trip Hub.
Journi helps you plan and organise group trips. Journi does not book flights, accommodation, transport, activities, restaurants, insurance or other travel services for you.
Any booking you make with a third-party travel provider is separate from Journi and subject to that provider’s own terms.
2. Who Can Use Journi
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, organise a Trip Hub or buy a paid plan.
Guests who join a Trip Hub are also expected to use Journi responsibly and follow these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when using Journi and keep your account details secure.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to create or manage Trip Hubs.
You are responsible for:
-
keeping your login details confidential;
-
all activity under your account;
-
making sure information you add to Journi is accurate and appropriate;
-
telling us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or close an account if we believe these Terms have been breached, if there is misuse of the service, or if we need to protect Journi, users or third parties.
4. Trip Hubs
A Trip Hub is a shared planning space for a group trip.
Depending on your plan and settings, a Hub may include tools for:
-
dates;
-
destinations;
-
accommodation ideas;
-
activities;
-
budgets;
-
polls and voting;
-
RSVPs;
-
participant lists;
-
notes;
-
itinerary details;
-
join requests;
-
final decisions.
The organiser controls the Hub and is responsible for how it is used.
5. Private And Public Hubs
Journi may allow organisers to create private or public Trip Hubs.
A Private Hub is intended for people invited by the organiser.
A Public Hub may be discoverable or shareable more widely. People may be able to request to join, and the organiser can approve or reject participants.
You are responsible for choosing the correct privacy setting for your trip and for the information you share in a Hub.
Do not add sensitive personal information to a public Hub.
6. Organisers And Guests
The organiser is responsible for creating the Hub, inviting participants, managing trip information and making decisions about the trip.
Guests can join and take part for free unless we clearly state otherwise.
Guests may be able to vote, respond, add ideas, share preferences or view trip details, depending on the Hub settings.
Journi is not responsible for decisions made by organisers or participants.
7. Plans And Pricing
Journi may offer free and paid plans.
Current plans may include:
-
Free: one Trip Hub for up to 6 people, including the organiser.
-
Single Hub: a one-off payment for one group trip Hub.
-
Pro: a subscription for users who organise multiple trips.
Plan features, limits and prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change from time to time.
If pricing or plan details change, the latest version shown on the website or app will apply to new purchases or renewals.
8. Payments
Paid plans must be paid for in advance.
Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full card details.
You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information.
If a payment fails, we may restrict access to paid features until payment is completed.
9. Pro Subscriptions
If you subscribe to Pro, your subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel renewal at any time. After cancellation, you will usually keep Pro access until the end of the paid billing period.
After your Pro access ends, your existing Hubs may remain viewable, but you may need an active plan to keep editing them or create more Hubs.
10. Single Hub Purchases
A Single Hub is a one-off purchase for one group trip Hub.
It is not a subscription.
To organise another paid trip after using a Single Hub, you may need to buy another Single Hub or subscribe to Pro.
11. Refunds And Cancellation Rights
If you are a UK consumer buying online, you may have cancellation rights under consumer law.
Because Journi is a digital service that may be made available immediately after purchase, your cancellation rights may be affected once access begins or once you start using the paid Hub or paid features, where the law allows and where you have agreed to immediate access.
We may offer refunds at our discretion or where required by law.
We do not usually provide refunds simply because:
-
your group decides not to travel;
-
people invited to your Hub do not respond;
-
your group cannot agree on dates or plans;
-
you no longer need the Hub after using it;
-
you made a booking with a third-party provider and later changed your mind.
To request help with a payment or refund issue, contact hello@getjourni.co.
12. Trip Decisions And Travel Bookings
Journi helps groups organise trip information. It does not guarantee that a trip will happen.
Journi does not guarantee:
-
attendance from guests;
-
agreement between participants;
-
availability of accommodation, transport or activities;
-
travel prices;
-
successful bookings;
-
travel safety;
-
visa, passport or entry requirements;
-
weather, events or trip outcomes.
You are responsible for checking all travel details before booking anything.
13. Third-Party Links And Services
Trip Hubs may include links to third-party websites, accommodation, transport, activities, restaurants or other travel providers.
Journi is not responsible for third-party websites, prices, availability, bookings, cancellations, refunds, quality, safety or service.
If you book with a third party, your contract is with that third party, not Journi.
14. User Content
You may be able to add content to Journi, including names, notes, links, trip ideas, votes, comments, preferences, photos or other information.
You confirm that you have the right to share anything you upload or add to Journi.
You must not upload or share content that is:
-
unlawful;
-
abusive, threatening or discriminatory;
-
misleading or fraudulent;
-
harmful to others;
-
invasive of privacy;
-
infringing someone else’s rights;
-
spam or malicious content.
We may remove content if we believe it breaches these Terms or may cause harm.
15. Acceptable Use

You must not:
-
attempt to hack, damage or disrupt the service;

-
use Journi to harass, scam or mislead others;
-
upload viruses or malicious code;
-
bypass payment, access controls or security features;
-
use Journi in a way that harms our reputation or other users.
16. Availability Of The Service
We aim to keep Journi available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Journi may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party provider issues, security concerns or events outside our control.
We may change, improve, pause or remove features as Journi develops.
17. AI And Support Features
Journi may use AI-assisted support or chat tools to answer common questions.
AI responses are provided for general support and may not always be complete or accurate.

You must not copy, reproduce, sell, reverse engineer or exploit Journi without our written permission.
19. Privacy
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and protect personal data.
20. Closing Your Account
You may stop using Journi at any time.
If you want to request account deletion, contact hello@getjourni.co.
We may need to keep some information for legal, tax, security or record-keeping reasons.
21. Limitation Of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Journi is provided as a planning tool. We are not responsible for losses caused by travel bookings, cancelled trips, group disagreements, third-party providers, missed deadlines, inaccurate information added by users or decisions made by organisers or guests.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
22. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make significant changes, we may notify users by email, in-app message or website notice.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
